Allowing you to be a little lazy with your cleaning techniques, the Tether is a plastic rod that bends and binds so your glasses won't break. Gary Rose gave Quirky the idea of making these malleable seat belts for your stemware that are sold in a set of four. With a hollow end that slides over a dishwasher rod and a clip on the other end to lock in the glass, you're left without a clinking or cracking care. Imbibe away drowsy drinkers, and leave the tough work to your washing appliances, because the Quirky Tether will leave your [stemware sparkling](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whirlpool-spinload-rack) and still solid for the [next cork-popping occasion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-stopper-1). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Dishwasher-safe Stemware:** The trend of dishwasher-safe stemware allows for convenient cleaning and reduces the risk of glass breakage. - **Malleable Stemware Protectors:** The trend of malleable stemware protectors provides a solution for safely cleaning delicate glassware without the risk of damage. - **Innovative Stemware Accessories:** The trend of innovative stemware accessories offers consumers convenient and efficient options for maintaining the quality and longevity of their glassware. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchen Appliance:** The kitchen appliance industry can explore integrating stemware stabilizers as a built-in feature in dishwashers to enhance convenience and reduce breakage. - **Kitchenware:** The kitchenware industry can develop and market a wide variety of malleable stemware protectors to cater to the growing demand for dishwasher-safe glassware. - **Home Goods:** The home goods industry has an opportunity to create innovative stemware accessories, such as customizable stemware clips and flexible glasses, to enhance the overall drinking experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Delicate Stemware Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smeg-dishwashers.md) - [Unbreakable Wine Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unbreakable-wine-glass.md) - [Nesting Gem-Like Drinking Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upsidedownside-glasses.md) - [Break-Resistant Champagne Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/champagne-glasses1.md) - [Time-Saving Cup Rinsers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brathird-glass-rinser.md) - [Minimalist Glassware Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-glassware.md) - [Wine Bottle Cork Trimmers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qwikcork.md) - [Cup-Integrated Plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pairingware.md) - [Stackable Chalice Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cali.md)
