Completed in January 2015, this home features four bedrooms. This quirky home features a trio of intentionally misaligned and [stacked volumes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-house-with-an-inverted-roof), each of which sports a special [green roof](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acute-house). The three volumes are used to house the master bedroom on the upper floor, with three bedrooms and a playroom situated in the middle floor. The ground floor is home to the common spaces such as the living room, lounge, kitchen and dining area. Ultimately, the MaHouse seeks to offer luxurious and fun living in a unique environment. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 90% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Quirky Luxury Homes:** Designing luxury homes with unique and playful features. - **Green Roofs in Home Design:** Incorporating green roofs in home designs for sustainability and aesthetic purposes. - **Multi-level Homes:** Creating multi-level homes with intentional misalignment for an interesting and unique aesthetic. ### Where This Applies - **Real Estate:** Developing luxury homes with unique features to attract high-end buyers. - **Architecture and Design:** Incorporating sustainable and aesthetically pleasing design elements into homes. - **Home Construction and Renovation:** Implementing multi-level and unique designs in new home construction and renovation projects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Whimsical Futuristic Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yoohome.md) - [Luxuriously Artistic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/child-studio1.md) - [Staggered Floor Modern Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-seven-floors.md) - [Compact Corner Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modus-architect.md) - [Charming Traditional Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-maison-du-bonheur.md) - [Refreshing Micro-Living Compact Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sffr-house.md) - [Contemporary Weatherized Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acute-house.md) - [Sleek Modular German Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-anton-ii.md) - [Chic Curved Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curved-house1.md)
