I realize that the word "lamp" may throw you off, but the Quirky Ember Portable Lamp is a hybrid of an outlet and a light. The lamp's base is a [power strip with two outlets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nodes), three USB ports and a 2-foot flexible LED light with a frosted lampshade. Multifunctional and easily portable, the Quirky Ember Portable Lamp is wonderfully convenient. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 10% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multifunctional Power Outlets:** There is an opportunity to create more hybrid products that combine power outlets with other functions. - **Portable Lighting Innovation:** There is an opportunity to create portable lighting that incorporates power outlets and USB ports. - **Flexible LED Lighting Design:** There is an opportunity to explore and innovate with flexible LED lighting technology. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** Companies in this industry can incorporate multifunctional power outlets, USB ports, and lighting in their products. - **Furniture Design:** Furniture design companies can integrate hybrid power outlets and lighting into their pieces. - **Interior Design:** Interior design companies can incorporate the Quirky Ember Portable Lamp into their designs and explore other multifunctional lighting solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Self-Monitoring Power Cubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teak-smart-cube.md) - [Contemporary Power Strip Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonbase-1.md) - [Power Strip Illuminated Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightbox-power-strip.md) - [Ultra-Flexible Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anywhereuse-lamp.md) - [Multi-Port Power Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arkeep-halo.md) - [Artistic Tech-Charging Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/combi-table-lamp.md) - [Design-Conscious Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-strip-concept.md) - [Modular Power Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-power-strip-1.md) - [Outlet-Equipped Workstation Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avro-pendant-lamp.md)
