This neat little contraption resembles a key, but has carefully designed features that allow it to virtually open everything but an actual door. It has been tested, refined and repeated, weighs 20 grams and is made with solid 304 Stainless steel that is die-casted, rust-proofed and polished. This means the Quickey lasts for a lifetime. It almost seems like an obvious tool to have with its [multi-functional everyday usefulness](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orioners-z3). Nifty, touch-safe and compact, you can add it to your [keychains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quickrelease-edc-carry-system) like an actual key and never have to scramble around for those awkward bulky multi-tools. It can be used as a [bottle opener](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tacray-shark-pocket-opener), pill splitter, tag popper, clamshell buster (super-convenient when you don't have scissors handy), letter opener and much more. Folks back at Trident say they're always finding new awesome uses for this multi-tool! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 97% | Activity: 99% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Keychain Multi-tools:** Developing compact, versatile multi-tools that can be easily carried on a keychain presents disruptive innovation opportunities for the tool industry. - **Compact Everyday Tools:** Creating compact and multifunctional tools that can perform a range of everyday tasks opens up disruptive innovation opportunities in the tool and gadget industry. - **Long-lasting Stainless Steel Gadgets:** Designing long-lasting gadgets made of rust-proofed stainless steel offers disruptive innovation opportunities for the gadget industry, ensuring durability and longevity. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Tool Industry:** The development of keychain multi-tools presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for the tool industry to create compact and versatile tools. - **Gadget Industry:** The creation of compact everyday tools that perform multiple functions opens up disruptive innovation opportunities in the gadget industry to meet consumer needs for convenience and versatility. - **Metalworking Industry:** The production of long-lasting gadgets made from rust-proofed stainless steel creates disruptive innovation prospects for the metalworking industry, offering durable and high-quality products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Versatile Multi-Tool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multitool-design.md) - [Rapidly Retractable Multi-Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retractable-multitool.md) - [Efficiently Engineered EDC Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lever-gear-edge-xt.md) - [Titanium Key-Inspired Multitools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edc-monster-keymaster.md) - [Keychain-Sized Multitools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snapcut.md) - [Featherweight Titanium Multitools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/featherweight-titanium-multitool.md) - [Miniature Multi-Functional Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crkt-kert.md) - [Pocket-Ready Multitool Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gerber-prybrid.md) - [EDC Keychain Utility Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/titanium-keychain-utility-knife.md)
