The collection presented above is from the artist's 'Illustrated Image' series from the artist's main website. The artwork by Jones suggests the never-ending possibility of creating [abstract images](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes) from everyday life. He does a great job at taking two seemingly separate images, and joining them to create a thought-provoking collage. Many of his pieces feature [animals, including cats and owls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animal-generator), which are then fused together with people to create [human-animal images](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fibredog). The result is slightly eerie, as one picture features a woman on all fours with cat ears and a gun inserted into her abdomen area. If you are looking for artwork with a twist of the abstract, Quentin Jones offers the perfect cocktail of both human and animal features. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Mixed Animal Art:** The trend of mixing different types of animals and human features to create abstract artwork pieces. - **Collage Art:** The trend of combining seemingly different or unrelated images to create an artwork piece. - **Fantasy Realism Art:** The trend of incorporating fantasy elements into realistic art pieces, especially through the use of animals fused with humans. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art:** The art industry can take advantage of the trend by introducing new mixed animal art techniques and tools for artists. - **Advertising:** Brands can take advantage of the trend to create captivating and unique advertising campaigns that incorporate mixed animal art. - **Fashion:** The fashion industry can leverage the trend by incorporating mixed animal artwork into their designs, especially on clothing items and accessories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Playful Balloon Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keff-joons.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Artist-Edition Jigsaw Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistedition-jigsaw-puzzles.md) - [Almost-Extinct Animal Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fauna-series.md) - [Outdoor Floral Sculpture Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptures-at-kew-gardens.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md)
