Designed by Dhiraj Choudhari, the chair features an ultra-chic style that has a C-shaped construction and is made curvaceously possible thanks to the use of hardwood imported veneers. The main body of the chair is also kept hollow, which does double duty to provide cats a place to explore for entertainment, while also keeping the piece inherently lightweight from both a visual and literal perspective. The conceptual 'Quella' chair functions effectively as a work of art for the home and answers demand for dual-purpose decor items amongst modern consumers. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 54% | Freshness: 18% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Pet-friendly Furniture:** The conceptual 'Quella' chair demonstrates the growing trend of furniture designs that cater to pet owners. - **Dual-purpose Decor:** The 'Quella' chair taps into the demand for decor items that serve multiple functions in modern homes. - **Curvaceous Design:** The C-shaped construction of the 'Quella' chair showcases the trend towards sleek and stylish furniture designs. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** The 'Quella' chair exemplifies how the furniture design industry is adapting to meet the needs of pet owners. - **Home Decor:** The 'Quella' chair represents the intersection of furniture design and home decor, offering both aesthetic appeal and practical function. - **Pet Accessories:** The 'Quella' chair presents an opportunity for the pet accessories industry to create more innovative and stylish furniture pieces for pet owners. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pet Bed-Equipped Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sharing-joy-armchair.md) - [Posh Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arch-chair-design.md) - [Cat-Friendly Seat Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jingcyuan-tang.md) - [Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hound-lounge.md) - [Posh Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nomad-juno.md) - [Cozy Cat-Friendly Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flow-single-sofa.md) - [Modern Pet-Friendly Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/choo-choo.md) - [Modern House Pet Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/choo-choo-console.md) - [Minimalist Pet Decor Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-pet-furniture-collection.md)
