The idea is simply titled the '[Pyramid](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pyramid-hut) Tower' and it will be located in the center of Mahane Yehuda market in Jerusalem, Israel. The goal for the tower is to act as a [multi-purpose building](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inaura) that will contain 200 apartments, a hotel, a rooftop restaurant and an observatory. The rooftop will contain a canopy-like cover that will actually be the tip of the pyramid. The open-concept rooftop will also provide exquisite views of the surrounding cityscape, doubling as a glorious, stargazing oasis. This skyscraper is set to be the second tallest building in the city as it is expected to reach 105 meters in height. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 36% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Pyramid-inspired Architecture:** Designing buildings with pyramid-like structures presents new opportunities for unique and visually striking architectural designs. - **Multi-purpose Skyscrapers:** Creating skyscrapers with diverse functionalities, such as housing, hotels, restaurants, and observatories, offers convenience and efficiency in urban living. - **Roof-top Canopy Innovations:** Exploring inventive canopies and coverings for rooftop spaces opens up possibilities for creating stunning and functional urban spaces with breathtaking views. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Architects and designers can incorporate pyramid-inspired elements when developing innovative and eye-catching structures for various purposes. - **Real Estate:** Real estate developers can capitalize on the concept of multi-purpose skyscrapers to provide versatile and desirable properties in urban centers. - **Hospitality:** Hotel industry professionals can leverage the unique features of pyramid-inspired skyscrapers, such as rooftop restaurants and observatories, to create unforgettable guest experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Staggered Cubic Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ooda.md) - [Altered Pyramid Concrete Monuments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pyramid-of-tirana.md) - [Precast Concrete Toronto Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tower-hill-development.md) - [Pyramid-Inspired Hotel Suites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kymaia-hotel.md) - [Art Deco-Tower Angular Extensions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-libeskind.md) - [Pyramidal Concrete Japanese Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pyramid-hut.md) - [Diamond-Inspired Luxe Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-miami.md) - [Cube-Shaped Skyscraper Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mukaab.md) - [Vaulted Pink Complexes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/babel-housing-mexico.md)
