Anyone can have a crystal vase, but can anyone have a PVC vase? That’s right, these PVC vases are made out of the exact same pipes that are used in your bathroom and kitchen. But this time they are more [colorful](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olivier-van-herpt-1), and designed to hold flowers. Basically the PVC vase is the greatest gift for anyone who wants to show off their [floral arrangement](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-vase) skill, and not their plumbing skills. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 24% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Colorful PVC Vases:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation by incorporating unconventional materials, like PVC pipes, into the vase industry. - **Alternative Materials in Home Decor:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation by exploring unconventional materials, such as PVC pipes, for other home decor items. - **Floral Arrangement Skill Showcase:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating products that allow individuals to display their floral arrangement skills in unique ways. ### Who This Affects Most - **Vase Manufacturing:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation by introducing vases made from unconventional materials, like PVC pipes, to cater to a unique customer segment. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation by incorporating unconventional materials, such as PVC pipes, into the production of home decor items. - **Floral Design:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation by creating products that enable individuals to showcase their floral arrangement skills using unique and unconventional vases, like PVC pipes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flower-Inspired Bong Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-vase-bong.md) - [Playful Packaging-Inspired Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strawberry-milk-vase.md) - [Unusual Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-brown-paper-bag-vase.md) - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md) - [Chandelier-Shaped Self-Watering Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfwatering-vase.md) - [Self-Cleansing Antimicrobial Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/potr-letterbox.md) - [Dual-Purpose Vintage-Inspired Home Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vintageinspired-home-object.md) - [Ultra-Slick Modern Pipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-pipe.md) - [Personalized Floral Grid Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-vase.md)
