However, when the top is pushed down, endless [secret compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/obelisk-3) pop out the sides. The mysteriously enticing design doesn't stop there but rather intrigues the viewer further as slits of tightly locked drawers appear. To open these further sections in the puzzle tables, the hole for a magnetic key must first be found. A final section is a slide-out puzzle that when aligned perfectly, forms a stunning Louis Cube mosaic. This wooden piece was a genius way for the craftsman to demonstrate his ability to hide compartments within furniture, enticing customers who would want to commission him for those kinds of pieces. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 90% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Interactive Furniture:** The trend of interactive furniture creates opportunities for businesses to attract customers with unique and engaging designs. - **Secret Compartments:** The trend of incorporating secret compartments in furniture offers businesses the chance to create innovative storage solutions for customers. - **Puzzle Designs:** The trend of puzzle-inspired furniture designs presents opportunities for businesses to cater to customers' desire for visually intriguing and interactive pieces. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can explore disruptive innovation by integrating interactive elements and hidden compartments into their product lines. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can tap into the trend of puzzle-inspired designs to offer customers unique and aesthetically pleasing products for their living spaces. - **Interior Design Services:** The interior design services industry can leverage the trend of interactive furniture to provide clients with customized solutions that combine functionality with artistic appeal. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interlocking Puzzle-Like Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-table.md) - [Dynamic Sculptural Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-transformation-table.md) - [Puzzling Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linked-side-table.md) - [Optically-Designed Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enigma-coffee-tables.md) - [Tetrahedral Desk Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-puzzles.md) - [Discreet Compartment Modern Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taarof-table.md) - [Spinning Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-spinning-coffee-table.md) - [Geometric Sculpture Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illusion-box.md) - [Jigsaw Puzzle-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puzzle-shelf.md)
