The large mural was painted in Porto Torres, Sardinia and was created by the C.S.O.A Pangea Posthudorra collective. The piece is displayed on the side of a relatively ordinary residential building and does an excellent job of livening the building up. It is made up of a series of puzzle pieces that start at the base of the building and make up part of a face and as the painting progresses, the puzzle pieces are seen coming to life and floating to the top of the wall. From there, the pieces come back together to complete the face. Designed by a group of organizers and artists, this mural works to make its surroundings more interesting. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 36% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Puzzle Piece Artwork:** Creating artistic murals using puzzle pieces provides an immersive experience for onlookers, while offering numerous opportunities for brand collaborations. - **Building Mural Art:** Livening up ordinary buildings with art can enhance community creativity, tourism and engagement in urban areas. - **Interactive Urban Art:** Urban art that is interactive fosters engagement and provides a sense of community while creating an immersive experience for participants. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Arts and Culture:** Artistic communities can offer opportunities for local and global collaborations in creating range of meaningful urban installations that can bring social and cultural benefits. - **Real Estate and Architecture:** Innovative urban designs that incorporate diverse artworks and installations add cultural and market value to any development while supporting community engagement and social benefits. - **Tourism:** Artistic urban installations create a unique selling point to attract visitors and can provide cultural and economic benefits to local businesses and communities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artist-Edition Jigsaw Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistedition-jigsaw-puzzles.md) - [Kinetic Optical Illusion Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-woodflow.md) - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [Social Good Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/derrick-adams-x-dreamyard.md) - [Frameable Jigsaw Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frameable-jigsaw-puzzle.md) - [Optical Illusion Replica Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liberty-science-center.md) - [Secret Mystery Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/odd-pieces.md) - [Artful Summer Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slim-aarons-puzzle-collection.md) - [Reimagined Artwork Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dancing-figures-mural.md)
