Upon first glance, the Puzzle Clock doesn't even seem like it tells time; the fact is, it doesn't. How? Why? Well, the clock [acts as an alarm](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-sound-clock-alarmo); the user needs only to take the [individual wooden pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-desk-clock) and construct the time on the wooden box. So if 6am is the time to be set, then the pieces must be arranged as 0600. Since there's no AM/PM indicator, you must understand the 24-hour clock in order to make the distinction. The Puzzle Clock is an interesting concept that's simple, but clever at the same time. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.6/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Unconventional Alarm Clocks:** An opportunity for disruptive innovation in reimagining the traditional alarm clock design and functionality. - **Interactive Time Display:** An opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating clocks that require user interaction to display the time. - **Educational Alarm Clocks:** An opportunity for disruptive innovation in combining learning and functionality in alarm clock designs. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** An opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating unique and interactive alarm clocks for the home decor industry. - **Education:** An opportunity for disruptive innovation in developing educational alarm clocks for the education industry. - **Electronics:** An opportunity for disruptive innovation in introducing interactive and unconventional alarm clocks to the electronics industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Alternative Time Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dozen-clock.md) - [Digital Personality Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alarm-oclock.md) - [Clapperboard-Inspired Desk Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-alarm-clock.md) - [Gesture Based Structured Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-smart-clock.md) - [Connected Toy-Like Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubb-alarm-clock.md) - [Minimal Assistive Multifunctional Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-house-alarm-clock.md) - [Subtle Lifestyle-Changing Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superlocal-clock.md) - [Lottery-Inspired Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fortune-clock.md) - [Intentionally Foggy Clock Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kehai-clock.md)
