# Integrated Feline Furniture The Wall-Mounted Cat Path By Cowbag | Published 2008-09-26 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pussy-playground-ultimate-indoor-fun-for-cats References: [apartmenttherapy](http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/house-tours/house-tour-bill-and-marias-cat-playgroundnew-york-062481) & [uhurudesign](http://www.uhurudesign.com/) Designers Bill and Maria, the founders of Uhuru Design, developed and installed a cat path around the house for their feline. This custom cat creation mounts to the wall and is far more attractive than any [cat condo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neko-yama). Fish, my cat (see the picture below of Classical Music for Cats), would love it. But cats being cats, however, I can't help but feel that the second something is there exclusively for them, they'll refuse to use it. Just like a [litter tray](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/catbula) is the only place they don’t go to the toilet, and [a bed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thermostatic-cat-bed) is the only place they don’t sleep. If you own a cat you will share my pain and know exactly what I mean. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wall-mounted Cat Paths:** Design and installation of wall-mounted cat paths for cat lovers to customize and make their homes more cat-friendly. - **Integrated Feline Furniture:** Design and production of attractive and functional furniture that doubles as a cat path or playground, allowing cat owners to make the most of their space and budget. - **Custom Cat Creations:** The rise of custom cat creations, offering unique and personalized options for cat owners who want to provide the very best for their feline companions. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Pet Furniture:** Pet furniture companies are poised to take advantage of the demand for stylish and functional cat paths and playgrounds that keep homes tidy and attractive. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can offer cat-centric design solutions and consultation services for cat owners who want to maximize their space for their feline companions. - **Custom Furniture Manufacturing:** Custom furniture manufacturing companies can tap into the growing demand for unique and personalized cat paths and furniture that reflect owners' style and taste. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cat-Friendly Seat Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jingcyuan-tang.md) - [Contemporary Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Cat-Furniture-1.md) - [Modular Magnetic Cat Walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nyanpeki.md) - [Pyramidal Feline Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-cat-furniture.md) - [Vertical Feline Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-tree-house-2.md) - [Flatpack Feline Entertainment Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/float-cat-tree.md) - [Customizable Feline Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meow-modular-cat-furniture.md) - [Stylish Stimulating Cat Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/catit.md) - [L-Shaped Pet Scratching Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/catvas.md)
