A team at Sanzpont Arquitectura submitted this animated entry for the Changing the Face Competition, which aims to turn this site into a [exciting cultural hub](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aydc-public-art-centre) to promote Russian arts. The beauty of this particular building is the way it engages with the public even at the level of the street, inviting visitors to climb its outdoor steps, or be lifted onto its balcony plaza by an exterior elevator. The expansive facade of vibrant LED lights acts as a scintillating backdrop for plein-air events, where the Pushkinsky Urban Cinema will host art exhibitions, fashion shows, [public figure skating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aan-architects) and more. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Interactive Civic Architecture:** Architects should integrate technology and interactive elements into the design of public buildings, to improve engagement with the community. - **Mixed-use Cultural Hubs:** Developers should plan public spaces with multi-functional programs that can host a variety of events and activities, from arts and fashion exhibitions to sports and festivals. - **Smart Facade Design:** Architects should consider using dynamic lighting and display solutions to create visually striking and immersive facades that engage with the surrounding environment. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture:** Architects should leverage new technologies and materials to create innovative and immersive public spaces that promote community engagement. - **Entertainment and Events:** Event organizers should look for unconventional venues and spaces that can offer unique experiences and settings for cultural, artistic and sporting activities and performances. - **Digital Displays and Signage:** Developers and manufacturers of digital display and signage solutions should explore new markets and opportunities, such as architectural and civic installations, that require innovative, energy-efficient and durable products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Contemporary Culture Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tselinny-center.md) - [Everchanging Water-Based Theaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yichang-grand-theatre.md) - [Interactive Architectural Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-landscape.md) - [Futuristic Cultural Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-lucas-museum-of-narrative-arts.md) - [Mass-Timber Lakeside Theaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/theater-of-the-arts.md) - [Balanced Retail Atmosphere](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capitamall-skyview.md) - [Sculptural Photocoltaic Theater Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/opera-and-ballet-theatre-of-kosovo.md) - [Neon Illustation-Donned Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crafted-world-exhibition-1.md) - [Sculptural Cultural Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aydc-public-art-centre.md)
