Rather than targeting hangovers after drinking, The Wand filters out the components in wine that cause hangovers in the first place, ensuring that drinkers wake up fresh and headache-free. Most wine-drinkers know the side effects of the vino: [headaches, congestion, redness](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iblush-gel), and that general hungover feeling. These come from the histamines and sulfites that naturally occur in wine. Those elements don't add anything to wine's flavor characteristics, so there's no downside to removing them. The Wand filters out 95 percent of histamines and sulfites without using any chemicals or additives, leaving wine that's even better than it was before. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 74% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Hangover-preventing Products:** Opportunities for creating hangover-preventing products that filter out the components in alcoholic drinks that cause hangovers, rather than curing them after drinking. - **Natural Filtration Methods:** Natural filtration methods for alcoholic drinks that filter out harmful components, such as histamines and sulfites, without the use of chemicals or additives. - **Customizable Drinking Experience:** Developing products that allow consumers to customize their drinking experience without suffering from hangover symptoms. ### Who This Affects Most - **Alcoholic Beverage Industry:** Innovative product ideas for filtering out components that lead to hangovers without compromising the taste and quality of alcoholic drinks. - **Supplement Industry:** Creating supplements or vitamins that help prevent hangovers or alleviate the symptoms of a hangover before or after drinking. - **Health and Wellness Industry:** Opportunities for developing health and wellness products that promote responsible drinking practices and help prevent hangovers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wine-Preserving Wands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ullo-uno-wine-purifying-wands.md) - [Sulfites-Eliminating Portable Wine Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uno-wine-purifying-wands.md) - [Revolutionary Anti-Hangover Pills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antihangover-pill.md) - [Magnetic Spirit Filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pouravida.md) - [Alcohol-Free Calming Beverages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-down.md) - [Anti-Hangover Drinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/morning-fresh.md) - [THC-Infused Non-Alcoholic Wines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whirlwined.md) - [Anti-Hangover Gummy Supplements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/undo-prealcohol-support-gummy.md) - [Hangover Recovery Gummies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hangover-recovery-gummies.md)
