The ‘Puma Nitro Lab,’ a high-performance athlete testing facility created in collaboration with Hartmann Orthopedics and Sports, has been introduced by Puma. The facility will serve as a space for athletes to get full-body insights about their performance through tests and scans.

Puma’s roster of top athletes, including the recently signed Marcell Jacobs, who is the reigning 100m Men's World, European, and Olympic Champion, will frequently visit the lab for performance testing and analysis. Jacobs was one of the first people to utilize the facility in February 2023.

“Puma is committed to learning from external experts who provide new perspectives and fresh insights that challenge our thinking and facilitate innovation in our products. Hartmann Orthopedics and Sports is the perfect partner given their experience over 20 years of working with elite athletes to minimise risk of injuries and optimise performance through testing and customisation,” said Romain Girard, senior head of innovation at Puma.
