Currently under construction, the CIS North Harbour building at the [Copenhagen International school](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skylab) shows how a public school campus can pave the way forward when it comes to school and city integration.

The solar-powered campus contains facilities that are open to the public and will also house the biggest "[building-integrated solar power plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/universidad-ean-1) in Denmark." The design of the school not only affects the education of the students who attend classes there, but also the city the campus is located in. The public school campus and open facilities could increase urban activity according to PSFK's Charlie Stephens, improve physical health and enhance economic activity too.

The new building will be the largest in Copenhagen, with four towers, each containing five to seven storeys of educational facilities with the first two floors being open to the public.
