Nothing makes a public space more welcoming than a softly budding, brightly hued garden of flowers that are displayed for anyone in the community to enjoy. Unfortunately, due to lack of space and likeliness of getting trampled, flowerbeds exist exclusively in the limited grassy areas a park has to offer. These alternative flower planters were created with the attention of better accentuating these [public spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-market-20). The public planters can be secured onto any walkway and are both durable and weather-resistant. The public planters blend in seamlessly with any neighborhood, decorating any area with an elevated, cascading bed of flowers. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Alternative Flower Planters:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating innovative and functional flower planters for public spaces. - **Secured Walkway Planters:** Potential for disruptive innovation by developing planters that can be easily secured onto walkways in public areas. - **Durable and Weather-resistant Planters:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in designing flower planters that are long-lasting and withstand various weather conditions. ### Where This Applies - **Urban Landscaping:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating innovative public planters for urban landscaping projects. - **Public Parks:** Potential for disruptive innovation in developing planters specifically designed for enhancing the aesthetics of public parks. - **City Planning:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation by incorporating durable and weather-resistant planters into city planning and infrastructure projects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chic Staggered Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/staggered-planters.md) - [Oversized Colorful Dynamic Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tfm.md) - [Office-Space Luscious Planets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bisley.md) - [Chic Self-Watering Garden Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glowpear-mini-bench.md) - [Vertical Workstation Wall Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-wall-planter.md) - [Sculptural Public Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-public-seating.md) - [Vibrant Dynamic Wall Plant-Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floos.md) - [Virtual Pet Planter Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-pot-concept.md) - [Naturalistic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apot-selfwatering-planter.md)
