Denker's boldly colored digital collages also feature surrealist and science fiction influences, and are created by weaving together up to 50 photographic layers to form the incredibly complex final image. He obtains pictures from a diverse variety of sources including the news, film-stills, literature, graffiti, architecture and advertising. **Implications** - Denker finds his inspiration in many things including Buddhism, traffic, video games and the many bright colors in candy shops. He feels that you can find inspiration in absolutely anything, if you just look. Denker is an inspiration and he will surely be looked up to by aspiring young artists. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Psychedelic Pop Art:** Opportunity for artists and art galleries to explore the use of bold colors and surrealist themes in digital collages. - **Digital Collage Techniques:** Potential for software developers and graphic designers to develop tools and techniques for weaving together multiple layers in creating complex digital collages. - **Diverse Source Materials:** Opportunity for photographers and content creators to explore and curate diverse sources such as news, film-stills, literature, and advertising for creating unique digital collages. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Artistic Expression:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for artists to push boundaries and experiment with new mediums and styles in their creative expression. - **Software Development:** Opportunity for software developers to create user-friendly tools and platforms specifically designed for digital collage creation and manipulation. - **Content Curation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for content creators and curators to explore unconventional sources and mix different visual elements to create engaging and unique digital collages. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Psychedelic Hand-Painted Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-iii.md) - [Digital-Themed Glitchy Visual Wallpapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glitch-wallpaper.md) - [Digital City-Inspired Art Works](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-central-station.md) - [Psychedelic Skateboard Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-psychedelia.md) - [Retro Space-Themed Puzzled Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-carter.md) - [Marble-Patterned Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychedelic-interior.md) - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Artist-Designed Wool Blankets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eike-konig.md)
