Developed by researchers at the [Queen Mary University of London](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/queens-cygnature-martini) and [Imperial College London](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/icad), Biomin-F works by offering up to 12 hours of protection for teeth. The secret to Biomin-F toothpaste is in the way it binds to your teeth; rather than just last for a few hours, the toothpaste will slowly release active ingredients throughout the day. This helps teeth to stay protected from wear between brushings to ensure that problems don't occur. The Biomin-F protection toothpaste helps to support natural functions within the mouth to not only [protect teeth from further damage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/claybrite), but rebuild weak spots and strengthen the tooth's structure. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **All-day Protection Toothpastes:** The development of toothpastes that offer long-lasting protection for teeth opens up opportunities for enhanced oral care routines and improved dental health. - **Slow-release Active Ingredients:** Introducing slow-release active ingredients in toothpaste formulations presents disruptive innovation opportunities for improving oral health by continuously protecting and strengthening teeth. - **Natural Mouth Support:** The trend towards toothpastes that support natural functions within the mouth creates opportunities to develop products that promote overall oral wellness and prevent dental issues. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Oral Care:** The oral care industry can benefit from developing innovative toothpaste formulations that provide longer-lasting protection and address various dental needs. - **Dental Products:** Incorporating slow-release active ingredients in dental products such as toothpastes offers the potential for creating value-added offerings that differentiate from traditional oral care offerings. - **Health and Wellness:** The health and wellness industry has opportunities to explore natural mouth support products, such as toothpastes, that contribute to overall oral hygiene and preventive care. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Antibacterial Protection Toothpastes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colgate-total-plaque-prorelease.md) - [Enamel-Strengthening Toothpastes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pronamel-clinical-enamel-strength-deep-clean.md) - [Prebiotic Toothpaste Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prebiotic-toothpaste.md) - [Collaborative Oral Rinse Toothpastes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arm-hammer-plus-therabreath-toothpaste.md) - [Reparative Sensitive Teeth Toothpastes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sensodyne-clinical-repair.md) - [Balancing Probiotic Toothpastes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/periobiotic-silver.md) - [Probiotic Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothpastes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/probiotic-nano-hydroxyapatite-toothpaste.md) - [Gum Protection Mouthwashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colgate-periogard.md) - [Triple-Action Whitening Toothpastes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/betterforyou-whitening-toothpaste.md)
