The illustrator and animator asks Amanda to marry him with an adorably awesome [animated video](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tooncrafter). The two-minute long video is a welcome change from other longer romantic sagas. It still manages to chronicle the couple's time together, from meeting inebriated and watching Juno in theaters to getting a cat together. Without ever explicitly including the question, the proposal video does feature a [diamond drawing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2025-engagement-ring) and a man (presumably Adam) getting down on one knee with a ring and a lingering question mark. This particular proposal uses animation in a clever way and is romantic without being cheesy. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Viral](https://www.trendhunter.com/viral) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Animated Proposals:** Using animation in marriage proposals to add a creative touch and make them stand out from traditional ones. - **Short Romantic Sagas:** Creating short and concise proposal videos that tell a romantic story in a succinct yet creative way. - **Illustrated Love Stories:** Using illustrations to visually represent and share a couple's love story, adding a personal touch to romantic gestures. ### Who This Affects Most - **Animation:** The animation industry can create unique and customized proposal videos for customers, adding a new market segment to their offerings. - **Wedding Planning:** Wedding planning companies can offer illustrated love story services to clients, providing a creative alternative to traditional wedding videos. - **Gifts and Souvenirs:** Selling illustrated love story books and other custom-made gift items with illustrations as a unique and personalized gift option for couples. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pet-Inspired Proposal Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engaged-couples.md) - [Onion Ring Proposals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onion-ring-proposal.md) - [Carrot-Shaped Engagement Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carrot-gold-engagement-ring.md) - [Cocktail Flavor-Inspired Engagement Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nontraditional-engagement-ring.md) - [Yacht Proposal Packages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sail-away-with-me.md) - [AI-Generated Pet Teasers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/i-want-a-puppy-kitten-studios.md) - [AI Couple Story Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-story-of-us.md) - [Lunar New Year Animations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cjroblue.md) - [Engagement Ring Claw Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engagement-moment.md)
