The can projects a [digital clock](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-clock-1) on the wall when one presses the nozzle down. The can itself features a [retro design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/braun-x-neighborhood-clock-collection) with a 'GG' logo and three circles in primary colors. The clock is battery operated and comes with two AA batteries included. Designed in San Francisco, this projection clock makes a perfectly quirky present. It's ideal for dorm living as the deceptive design will likely stop any thieves. The old school graffiti look makes it a fun addition to any nightstand. The wireless device also would work well in a camping environment, especially if one has access to extra batteries. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 69% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Projection Clocks:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the home decor industry by designing projection clocks that offer unique and interactive ways to tell time. - **Retro Design:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the fashion industry by incorporating retro design elements into modern products and accessories. - **Wireless Gadgets:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the technology industry by developing wireless gadgets that are portable and versatile for various settings. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the home decor industry by creating unique and unconventional clock designs that double as decorative pieces. - **Fashion:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the fashion industry by combining retro design aesthetics with contemporary fashion trends to create unique and nostalgic products. - **Technology:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the technology industry by creating wireless gadgets that cater to the needs of modern consumers, offering convenience and functionality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Shooting Target Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clockwerk-target-clocks.md) - [Large Watch-Style Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casio-japan.md) - [Connected Toy-Like Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubb-alarm-clock.md) - [Barebones Retro-Inspired Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloudnola-flip-clock.md) - [Snowglobe-Inspired Dynamic Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/time-to-snow.md) - [Digital Personality Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alarm-oclock.md) - [Venn Diagram Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jetlag-clock.md) - [Nostalgic 3D-Printed Arcade Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arcade-clock.md) - [Security Camera Multifunctional Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swap-clock.md)
