Jannis Ellenberger's Private Space I project stages a contemporary bedroom with the inclusion of a well-equipped washbasin. A beautiful union of simplicity and functionality is expressed in one piece of furniture in particular, replacing the old custom of a bedside pitcher and bowl, it comprises a sink, a countertop and storage. The vanity has a pair of slots through which to hang hand towels and face cloths, it has two little pots for combs and toothbrushes, a place for your soap and a subtle perforated drain below the faucet.
