# Privacy-Centric Homes This Luxurious Summer Home Provides Seclusion and a Gorgeous Design By Gurveer Brah | Published 2015-08-19 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/privacycentric-home References: [highsnobiety](http://www.highsnobiety.com/2015/08/14/ka-house-thailand/) While there is a growing culture lacking anonymity, this privacy-centric home keeps your family life away from being everyone's business. The 'KA House' was designed by [IDIN Architects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harudot) and lets the people who live inside it keep their personal affairs private. This "[secluded paradise](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-brecon)" is located in Thailand's Pak Chong district. The home uses the outside area, along with an enclosing fence to integrate the surrounding environment. The seclusion is created by a [solid concrete entrance](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-serra), keeping outsiders wondering what lies within. The home uses triangular wooden laths that play with the natural light that allows guests of the home a distraction-free experience. While the house is beautiful, the privacy-centric home looks like the perfect luxurious retreat from the celebrity-obsessed tell-all culture that America has cultivated. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 84% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Privacy-centric Living:** Opportunity for innovation in designing homes that prioritize privacy and seclusion for individuals and families. - **Secluded Architecture:** Innovative architectural designs that incorporate fences, solid entrances, and strategic layouts to create privacy and seclusion in residential spaces. - **Natural Light Manipulation:** Advancements in utilizing triangular wooden laths and other innovative materials to control and enhance natural lighting in homes while maintaining privacy. ### Who This Affects Most - **Real Estate:** Opportunity for real estate developers and architects to create and market privacy-centric homes for individuals seeking a secluded living experience. - **Luxury Hospitality:** Opportunity for luxury resorts and hotels to incorporate privacy-centric designs and architecture to offer exclusive retreats and experiences for high-profile guests. - **Lighting and Construction Materials:** Opportunity for manufacturers and suppliers of innovative lighting solutions, materials, and construction techniques that cater to privacy-centric architecture and design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Privacy Enhanced Minimal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-open-house-1.md) - [Privacy-Focused Australian Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clifton-house.md) - [Curvaceous Privacy Wall Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kwk-promes-open-house.md) - [Hidden Resort Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stealth-1.md) - [Wooden Louvre Secluded Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-aoyama.md) - [Compact Urban Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stealth-house.md) - [Private Lifestyle Minimal Bungalows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/southwestern-residence.md) - [Tranquil Courtyard Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sanctum-house.md) - [Discreet Modern Brazil Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jf-residence.md)
