The panels from the Sweden-based brand are crafted out of two-third [recycled PET plastic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/know-new-plastic) and one-third virgin plastic to give them an eco-friendly edge. The panels feature a [felt-like finish](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixels-1) that offers a touch of softness, but also works to combat against [noise pollution in an open-concept space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harp-system). The Baux privacy panels come in a total of nine sizes for desk-mounted or floor-mounted use. This enables the panels to be used for sectioning off larger areas of an office space or even divide large communal tables into dedicated sections for individuals. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Semi-soundproofing Solutions:** Companies can develop acoustic panels with recycled materials to offer an eco-friendly solution for noise reduction in open-concept workspaces. - **Segmented Office Spaces:** Companies can create desk-mounted or floor-mounted privacy panels that come in various sizes to allow for customizable solutions that accommodate larger areas of office spaces. - **Eco-friendly Acoustics:** Companies can leverage recycled materials to develop products that offer acoustic solutions, reducing noise pollution while being environmentally responsible. ### Where This Applies - **Office Furniture:** Manufacturers can incorporate eco-friendly, acoustic paneling into their furniture lines, offering customizable, soundproof solutions for modern offices. - **Architecture:** Architects can integrate acoustic panels into the design of new office buildings, creating customizable soundproof solutions that cater to the needs of modern, open-concept workspaces. - **Acoustic Engineering:** Companies that specialize in acoustics can leverage recycled materials to develop innovative solutions that address the unique soundproofing needs of modern office spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Acoustic Optimization Office Panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kirei-air-baffle.md) - [Pastel Tonal Acoustic Panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-acoustic.md) - [Geometric Sound-Dampening Wall Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acoustic-compositions.md) - [Wool Office Soundscape Panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abstracta.md) - [Calming Acoustic Privacy Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/actiu-qyos.md) - [Design-Conscious Office Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/calm-collection.md) - [Felt-Made Wall Decorations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hush-blocks.md) - [Contemporary Privacy Screen Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/calm-system.md) - [Textured Sound Panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emma-hayes.md)
