The Prismate BIG-18 is a candle, but it also isn't. It is because it takes the form of one; however, it also isn't because it doesn't use flames to light up. Instead, the BIG-18 is actually an [LED torch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/decoration-light) that will light up your home beautifully. Each of the candles features a built-in bulb that can be controlled by a remote control. The BIG-18 comes in 12 different colors which is cool because when lit up, it will reflect the color which will bring a beautiful hue in the dark. This is a great option if you want a [long-lasting candle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adlan-fragrances) that will never burn out. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **LED Candles:** LED candles offer a long-lasting and flameless alternative to traditional candles. - **Remote Controlled Lighting:** The use of remote-controlled LED lights provides convenience and customizable lighting options. - **Colorful Illumination:** Candles with built-in bulbs that can change colors offer a visually stunning lighting experience. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** LED candles are a disruptive innovation in the home decor industry, providing safe and long-lasting lighting solutions. - **Hospitality:** The use of remote-controlled lighting in the hospitality industry can enhance guest experiences and create ambience. - **Entertainment:** Color-changing candles can be used in events and entertainment settings to create captivating lighting displays. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart Candle Warmer Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Flickering Candle-Inspired Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebo-big-poppy.md) - [Vintage-Inspired Candle Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vintageinspired-candle-lamps.md) - [Smart Candle-Warming Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchbot-candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Naturally Inspired Digital Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magma-lamp.md) - [Flame-Free Candle Warmers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Romantic Modern Lighting Sources](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wick-s.md) - [Candle Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candle-advent-calendar.md) - [Faux Christmas Candle Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-table-decoration.md)
