This innovative concept camera captures multiple images and then prints them into a moving picture GIF flip book. Talk about preserving the moment. Created by Jiho Jang the GIFTY printing camera has a [small built-in printer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-ace-pro-2-pocket-printer) that uses zero ink. The concept camera is simple to use. Simply fill it with [special inkless paper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kodak-printomatic) (works much like camera film) and set the self timer for five seconds. Capture a wonderful moment in 10-20 images and then -- if you are happy with what you saw -- hit print. The images will print out in one continuous strip and you will have to tear them apart. Then, clip them into a flip book and relive them moment over and over again. GIFTY miniature printing camera is only a concept design at the moment but keep your eyes peeled for it to hit the market sooner rather than later. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 24% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Miniature Printing Camera:** Opportunity for developing other types of small cameras that can print images - **Inkless Printing Technology:** Opportunity for application of inkless printing technology in other devices - **GIF Flip Book Trend:** Opportunity for creating other devices that make creating GIF flip books easier ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Opportunity for photography industry to expand camera products to include miniature printing cameras - **Consumer Electronics:** Opportunity for consumer electronics industry to incorporate inkless printing technology into their products - **Stationery:** Opportunity for stationery industry to create more innovative products that work with the GIF flip book trend ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Adorable Mini Instant Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-digital-toy-camera.md) - [Gifting-Ready Digital Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camp-snap-custom-edition.md) - [Color-In Photo Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toy-camera-concept.md) - [Subtle Smartphone-Friendly Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-image-box.md) - [Kid-Friendly Instant Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/myfirst-camera-insta-wi.md) - [Sculptural Pebble-Shaped Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ditto-camera-concept.md) - [Playful Thermal Printer Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/childrens-print-camera.md) - [Memory-Making Retro Camera Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duo-modular.md) - [Artistic Photography Instant Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moir-21-instant-film-camera.md)
