This adorable Tabby cat is ready to fight and protect the intergalactic universe from the evil Darth Vader. A photographer by the name of Wendy recently uploaded on her Flickr page a series of images of a charming, orange Tabby kitten dressed up in a miniature version of the iconic Princess Leia costume from the Star Wars saga. The kitten rocks a white, four-legged turtle neck robe just like the one Princess Leia has on in the film. This look wouldn't be complete without a pair of Princess Leia's signature cinnamon bun hair rolls so this cat wears two small yarn buns on either side of its head. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 90% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Pet Cosplay:** Cosplaying is expanding to pets, presenting opportunities for innovative pet costumes and accessories. - **Cross-species Fandom:** Fandom culture is expanding into cross-species interaction, creating opportunities for merchandise and events that appeal to both humans and pets. - **Customization for Pets:** There is a growing demand for customized pet costumes, accessories, and merchandise, creating opportunities for personalized and unique offerings in the pet industry. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Industry:** The rising trend of pet cosplay presents an opportunity for pet retailers and manufacturers to create and sell costumes and accessories for pets. - **Fandom Industry:** The expanding trend of cross-species fandom creates opportunities for merchandise and events that cater to both pets and their owners. - **Craft Industry:** The demand for customized pet costumes and accessories presents opportunities for crafters and artisans to create unique and personalized offerings for pets and their owners. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Transforming Sci-Fi Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pillow-pets-star-wars-chewbacca.md) - [Sci-Fi-Themed Donut Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinkbox-doughnuts-star-wars-day.md) - [Desert Planet Sci-Fi Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sands-of-tatooine-collection.md) - [Galactic Cafe Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Star-wars-themed-cafe.md) - [Winter-Ready Sci-Fi Fashions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-x-columbia-collection.md) - [Black-and-White Puzzle Brick Cats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuxedo-cat.md) - [Cat-Starred Watch Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-bang-watch.md) - [Movie-Inspired Digi-Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-tamagotchi.md) - [Hand-Knit Sci-Fi Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handknit-scifi-sculpture.md)
