The 'Primitive Structures' table design has been designed by Jongwon Lee as a series of stone-like furniture pieces constructed with a naturalistic form in mind. The tables are constructed using [recycled parallel strand lumber](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/re-up-side-tables) (PSL) and embraces the rustic aesthetic of the material as part of the visual intrigue of the pieces. Inspired by Korean architecture, the tables have a distinct [stone-like texture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tom-black) that's enhanced with treatment to allow the [wood grains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lichen) to show through and give each piece a unique appearance.

The 'Primitive Structures' table design identifies what could be done to utilize waste materials and give new life to discarded items. The furniture shows off a beautiful form that could also be easily recycled after use unlike other pieces on the market.
