# Classically Ornate Cuisines The Prestige Rialto Kitchen by Arca Seems Camoflaged By Meghan Young | Published 2011-01-20 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prestige-rialto-kitchen References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/004885.html) & [arcamobili.it](http://www.arcamobili.it/cataloghi/scheda.aspx?id=27) Although the Prestige Rialto kitchen actually functions as a kitchen, it certainly does not look like one. Classically ornate, it looks more like a living room or Victorian-esque bar setting. Designed by Arca, the Prestige Rialto kitchen is all about the details, from the gold accented cabinets to the quilted island. Inspired by the Italian culture, this kitchen definitely looks fit for royalty. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Ornate Kitchen Design:** Incorporating ornate design elements into kitchen spaces presents an opportunity for creating unique and luxurious living spaces. - **Kitchen as Art Installation:** Designing kitchens that are more than just a functional space but also serve as an art installation creates an opportunity for creating a new market for individuals who want to merge art and functionality. - **Cultural Influence in Kitchen Design:** Incorporating inspiration from specific cultures into kitchen design presents an opportunity for creating unique, culturally-relevant living spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Luxury Home Design:** Designing luxurious homes could be reimagined by incorporating ornate kitchen design elements to appeal to individuals who crave unique and grandiose living spaces. - **Custom Furniture Design:** Custom furniture could embrace the fusion of art and functionality in kitchen designs to meet the growing demand for unique and artistic living spaces. - **Kitchen Appliance Manufacturing:** Manufacturers of kitchen appliances have an opportunity to partner with designers to provide innovative and artistic appliance options that complement ornate kitchen designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Custom Outdoor Kitchen Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tria.md) - [Freestanding Experimental Kitchens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/experimental-kitchens.md) - [Cabinet-Style Kitchen Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/next125-pocket-system.md) - [Ultra-Modern Exterior Kitchen Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atria-outdoor-kitchen-system.md) - [Luxe Grooved Versatile Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cesar.md) - [Aluminum-Clad Kitchen Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vipp-v3-kitchen.md) - [Convertible Under-Counter Fridges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/signature-kitchen-suite-mantle.md) - [Kitchen-Focused Renovated Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/republique-apartment.md) - [Compact Kitchen Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-kitchen-furniture.md)
