Italian footwear brand Premiata introduces its inaugural [sustainable sneaker](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-sneaker-collection) model in the form of the [John Low](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wagner-ranch-nature-area) sneaker. It draws inspiration from mythical nature elements and displays the design in a lookbook that follows the same aesthetics. The editorial shows off the new John Low sneaker in a way that interprets the shoe to be immortalized.

It boasts a raw and sustainable element as 80% o the shoe is made from renewable materials. This ensures that it upcycled scraps into usable and functional materials including rubber and leather. The [suede used to construct the shoe](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trail-sneaker-1) is made by SCIARADA, an Italian tannery. Additionally, Premiata also uses LIMONTA regretted nylon with ECONYL yarn from waste products such as old carpets or fishing nets.
