The wristband has a flexible OLED screen that displays vital information such as heart rate and body temperature. Its screen can be customized with icons that allow you to do things such as call your doctor or the hospital with just the touch of a button. The Pregnancy Pulse also lets you instantly send [vital health information](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/health-monitoring-capability) to your doctor. This concept may seem too futuristic to be viable, but a [health-monitoring OLED wristband](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tband) may not be as far-fetched as you think. There are a ton of [at-home health care concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hormometer) being designed, and if technology keeps advancing the way it is, then it may only be a matter of time before physically going to see your doctor becomes a thing of the past. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Health-monitoring Maternity Bands:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing advanced health-monitoring wearable technology specifically for pregnant mothers to monitor their health and the health of their babies. - **Flexible OLED Screens:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrating flexible OLED screens into wearable devices to display and customize vital health information. - **At-home Health Care Concepts:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing and advancing at-home health care concepts that leverage technology to provide convenient and accessible healthcare services. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Wearable Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Expanding the applications of wearable technology by creating customized health-monitoring devices for pregnant mothers. - **Healthcare:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Transforming the healthcare industry by integrating advanced health-monitoring technology and enabling remote monitoring and communication with healthcare professionals. - **OLED Display Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Advancing flexible OLED display technology for various industries, including healthcare, to enhance user experience and functionality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sweat-Based Pregnancy Wearables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/molesense.md) - [Pebble-Like Heart Health Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-stethoscope.md) - [Health-Tracking Swimmer Bracelets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soswim-safety-bracelet.md) - [Kinetic Power Health Wearables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mother-bracelet.md) - [Health-Tracking Key Fobs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portal-vital-monitor.md) - [Advanced Heart-Tracking Patches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultrasound-patch.md) - [Pregnancy Tracker Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/babytrack.md) - [Disease-Detecting Medical Wristbands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teltonika.md) - [Screen-Free Fitness Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luna-band.md)
