It is nestled in the woodlands of Barcelona, and the Spanish design firm has worked on a unique approach when faced with the challenges of restoring the [dilapidated wooden home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microhome-renovation), which was originally constructed on a nine-pillar base. It was left to decay in the mountains, and instead of going for a full demolition, the studio proposed three replacement strategies to the owners.
