# Grassy Desktop Organizers Pratonzolo by Stylemylife Brings Life to a Wearisome Workspace By Amelia Roblin | Published 2011-05-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pratonzolo-by-stylemylife References: [industrialdesignserved](http://www.industrialdesignserved.com/gallery/Pratonzolo/1239745) [Potted plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/posha) drastically improve the atmosphere of an office, and perhaps Pratonzolo by Stylemylife would have a similar effect. Though it's not exactly made of living organic matter, its grassy appearance atop a soft woody base is bound to bring a little outdoor delight to an otherwise [lifeless desktop](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ofiistory-desk-supplies). This particular object is the result of a collaboration between Matteo Mocchi and Max Battaglia and is set to be featured at Milan's Salone del Mobile 2011 design fair. A close look may reveal what is essentially an upturned brush with a dense blade-like bristles, offering a flexible bed for the placement of items like pens, pencils, cards and other office supplies. Pratonzolo by Stylemylife is a familiar object executed in a refreshing new way. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Grassy Desk Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop office accessories that incorporate natural elements like grass to create a more calming and outdoor-inspired workspace. - **Collaborative Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Encourage collaboration between designers from different backgrounds to bring refreshing new perspectives and create unique products for the market. - **Nature-inspired Office Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create office decor that mimics natural elements, enhancing the ambiance and well-being of employees in a corporate setting. ### Who This Affects Most - **Office Supplies:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce eco-friendly office supplies that incorporate sustainable and biodegradable materials, promoting a greener work environment. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine functionality and aesthetics by incorporating nature-inspired elements into interior design, creating spaces that foster creativity and productivity. - **Home and Office Décor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop unique and interactive home and office decor items that bring a touch of nature indoors, promoting a sense of tranquility and well-being. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Integrated Planter Worktables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plantable-office.md) - [Multipurpose Workstation Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oakywood-wooden-cubic-pot.md) - [Eco-Friendly Hardwood Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hardwood-accessories.md) - [Office-Space Luscious Planets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bisley.md) - [Organized Minimal Pen Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stilo75-pen-holder.md) - [Carved Timber Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organization-kit.md) - [Office-Friendly Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loopo-green-system.md) - [Workstation Zen Garden Equipment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desktop-zen-garden.md) - [Customizable Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-desk-organizers.md)
