Designed by [Yeeun Son](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yellow-chair), the power bar features an upside-down form with the electric outlets hidden on the interior to put a focus on safety. This also prevents cords and cables alike from cluttering up a space to keep things looking neat underneath a workstation. The 'Turney' power strip concept is imagined with four outlets and two USB ports for charging mobile technology devices. The unit is finished with a [wireless charging pad](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-charger-from-counterpart) on the top to further encourage the power bar to be left out in the open and accessible for daily use powering up devices. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 69% | Activity: 54% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Upside-down Form:** Designing power bars with an upside-down form ensures safety, which creates an opportunity for designers to create sleek, modern and minimalist devices. - **Wireless Charging Pad:** The addition of wireless charging pads on power bars creates an opportunity for companies to make power bars that are multi-functional and help reduce clutter on a desk. - **Hidden Electrical Outlets:** Creating power strips with hidden electrical outlets help keep production lines and office workstations clean and organized. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can suggest the use of power strips with a sleek design and wireless charging features to their clients, which can add a modern touch to a room while keeping their devices charged. - **Office Supplies:** Companies specializing in office supplies can offer their customers power strips that have hidden electrical outlets, multi-functional wireless charging pads, and a sleek design to keep their workstations organized and clutter-free. - **Technology:** Manufacturers of mobile technology devices can add wireless charging functionality to their devices to encourage the use of power strips with wireless charging pads. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artfully Dynamic Power Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aunion.md) - [U-Shaped Power Strip Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-strip-2.md) - [Nature-Inspired Puffy Power Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloud-air.md) - [Chic Technology Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/360-electrical-powercurve77.md) - [Pencil-Resembling Power Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pencil-multitap.md) - [Design-Conscious Extension Cords](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/willow-power-supply.md) - [Rotating Outlet Power Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oconnect-onestep.md) - [Power Strip Illuminated Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightbox-power-strip.md) - [Modular Power Strip Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nodes.md)
