This brewing stand is made by hand and consists of an American walnut base that has been treated with a food-safe coating to protect itself from coffee spills. Solid brass parts sourced from a New Jersey foundry form an adjustable ring and arm piece. The final touch is an exquisite heat-resistant glass [pour-over cone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pour-over-coffee-bags) from Japanese glass company [Hario](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hiroia-hikaru-v60-smart-brewer) that's used to hold the coffee filter. Scientists at M.I.T. have confirmed that brewing coffee through the pour-over method produces the best quality cup of coffee. The benefits of using this pour-coffee brewer aren't limited to taste as the piece is also an elegant counter top accessory. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pour-over Coffee Brewing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a fully automated pour-over coffee brewer that maintains the quality and taste of manual brewing methods. - **Handmade and High-quality Materials:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a customizable pour-over coffee brewer using sustainable and premium materials like bamboo or ceramic. - **Functional and Aesthetic Home Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design pour-over coffee brewers that blend seamlessly into modern kitchen aesthetics while providing efficient and precise brewing functionality. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Coffeemakers:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate smart technology and connectivity features into pour-over coffee brewer models for a more personalized brewing experience. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with interior designers to create pour-over coffee brewer designs that appeal to homeowners seeking stylish and functional kitchen accessories. - **Kitchenware:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Experiment with alternative materials and eco-friendly manufacturing processes to create pour-over coffee brewers that align with sustainability-conscious consumer preferences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stainless Coffee Press Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aarke-coffee-press.md) - [Automated Pour-Over Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xbloom-allinone-coffee-machine.md) - [Spiral Coffee Brewers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/italian-moka-coffee-pot.md) - [Single-Cup Workstation Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brewster-dcm5000.md) - [Elegant Manual Espresso Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-lever-espresso-maker.md) - [Cold Extraction Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cold-drip-coffee-maker.md) - [Precision Power-Over Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hiroia-hikaru-v60-smart-brewer.md) - [Modern Drip Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-drip-coffee-maker.md) - [Flatpack Outdoor Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brutek-collapsible-pour-over.md)
