Rather than simply being flat and oversized, the 'Heli-Trivet' works by offering a plus sign design that protects surfaces from [hot pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vacuum-insulated-pot-pwr). Capable of being used in the kitchen or on the dining table during dinner, the 'Heli-Trivet' is crafted from [silicone for enhanced durability](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circular-oven-mitts). The design of the 'Heli-Trivet' pot pad is malleable and designed to [fold up when not in use](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-cup). This enables it to be placed in a drawer or stored on a hook without having to dedicate extensive space to it like other designs on the market. The product is the design work of Tsoi Man Hei Ken. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Simplified Pot Pad Designs:** Opportunity for developing pot pad designs that are simple in aesthetics yet highly functional. - **Space-saving Kitchen Accessories:** Potential for creating compact and foldable kitchen accessories that can be easily stored in small spaces. - **Enhanced Durability Materials:** Opportunity for using durable materials like silicone in the design of kitchen products for long-lasting use. ### Who This Affects Most - **Kitchenware:** Opportunity for innovation in the kitchenware industry to create efficient and space-saving products. - **Home Organization:** Potential for developing products that help optimize storage and organization in small living spaces. - **Material Manufacturing:** Opportunity for manufacturers to explore and improve the durability of materials used in kitchen product design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anti-Scald Protective Covers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/protective-covers.md) - [Foldable Fire Pit Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firebase.md) - [Modular Portable Cooktop Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-hotplate.md) - [Portable Compact Kettles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-kettle.md) - [Design-Conscious Space Heaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-heater.md) - [Reusable Folding Storage Plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/calzone-tableware.md) - [Portable Fire Pit Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-pit-stand.md) - [Space-Saving Cookwear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacesaving-cookware.md) - [Versatile Steamer-Pot Combos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/everything-pot1.md)
