The Postmates FoodFight! initiative has been developed in partnership with Working Not Working and Vice as a movement that aims to combat against [homeless hunger](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hunger-action-month).

Presently in the pilot phase, the project has restaurants donating food that would otherwise go to waste in order to get it delivered to those who are need of a meal. This does double duty by helping those in the Los Angeles area get a meal, while also helping to keep a large amount of edible food from being wasted for a sustainable touch.

The Postmates FoodFight! initiative was spoken on by Working Not Working's Head of Growth & FoodFight! Ambassador Emily Slade who said, "If we can eliminate the friction in the donation process by making it as easy as calling Postmates to make the [food donation delivery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slim-chickens1), then we can really make an impact.”
