# Vibrant Ombre Couches The Post Design Collection by Atelier Biagetti is Stylish and Sophisticated By Meghan Young | Published 2013-04-01 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/post-design-collection References: [trendland.co](http://trendland.co/post-design-collection-from-atelier-biagetti/) & [biagetti.net](http://biagetti.net/works/design/post-design-collection-2012/) The pieces in the Post Design Collection, especially the couches, can be taken as a fad that some might not want to invest in when it comes to expensive, long-lasting pieces of furniture. Nevertheless, they have been created in such a way that they balance style and sophistication beautifully. The Post Design Collection might only appeal to some, but to those few they will stand the test of time. Comprised of [couches, armchairs, tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-co) and artwork, the Post Design Collection was created by Atelier Biagetti, a studio based in Milan, Italy. The couches are fashioned out of [memory foam upholstered in soft leather](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upholstered-furniture1) while the tables are made out of [thin opaque brass and laminated plastic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touch-collections), which is meant to mimic the serene blue sky above. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Vibrant Ombre Interiors:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop customizable home decor solutions that allow consumers to easily change the color gradient of their furniture. - **Luxury Design Embracing Memory Foam:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create high-end furniture pieces that combine luxury materials with memory foam for ultimate comfort and style. - **Art-inspired Furniture Collections:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with artists and designers to create furniture collections that blur the line between functional decor and artistic expression. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate technology into interior design processes to offer clients virtual representations of ombre furniture options. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore sustainable material alternatives to create vibrant ombre furniture collections that align with eco-friendly consumer preferences. - **Luxury Retail:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop experiential in-store displays that showcase the beauty and craftsmanship of ombre furniture, enticing luxury consumers to make a purchase. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flexible Landscape-Like Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airberg-sofa-collection.md) - [Sculptural Living Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cromatica.md) - [Vibrant Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibrant-furniture-collection.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Ultra-Cozy Contemporary Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-furniture-collection1.md) - [Ribbed-Cushioned Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/note-design.md) - [Dynamic Vibrancy Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porro-linea.md) - [Repetitive Curvaceous Seating Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colle-sofa.md) - [Playful Casual Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uchronia-wave.md)
