We've featured [LEGO photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-exhibition) on Trend Hunter before, but these photos by N. Salventius are a whole other story. 'Portraits of LEGO' is a story of depth and thought provocation. Each picture comes with a caption that explains what is happening with these tiny toy bricks. My favorite is the 'Portrait of Loch Ness'. It is ridiculously simple, yet captivating to look at. Become enthralled by simplicity with 'Portraits of LEGO'. You will never see [LEGOs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat) the same again. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 68% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Legotography:** Photography using LEGOs as the main subject creates an opportunity for toy manufacturers to create pre-packaged photo kits for aspiring photographers. - **Captioned Art:** Incorporating captions with art or photography creates a deeper storytelling experience and an opportunity for app developers to create a captioning tool for various forms of visual content. - **Minimalism:** The rise of minimalistic photography presents an opportunity for camera manufacturers to create simple and intuitive cameras that appeal to those looking for a minimalist aesthetic. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Toy Manufacturing:** Creating pre-packaged LEGO photography kits would allow toy manufacturers to expand their product offerings and tap into a new market of aspiring photographers. - **App Development:** Developing a captioning tool for visual content could be transformative for apps like Instagram or Snapchat, making them more personalized and engaging for users. - **Photography:** The rise of minimalistic photography creates an opportunity for camera manufacturers to offer simpler, more affordable cameras and accessories without sacrificing quality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Lego-Centric Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brick-my-world.md) - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [Insanely Intricate LEGO Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-rollsroyce.md) - [Witty Toy-Brand Horror Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/horror-poster.md) - [Functional Building Block Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-zh1.md) - [Building Block-Inspired Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-x-room-copenhagen.md) - [Nature-Inspired Building Block Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seven-natural-wonders-of-the-world.md) - [Pop Art-Style Blocked Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-in-red.md) - [Vintage Building Block Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-ideas-polaroid-onestep-sx70-camera-set.md)
