That's why her subjects -- Amanda Leemis, Malin Akerstorm, Alex Glenday, Catherine Lehmann and Julia Campbell-Gillies -- all feature understated hair and makeup by Anne Timper. Toit's final images are soft and tender, with an ethereal, almost dream-like quality to them.
