By creating these mirrors and placing them in front of each other, you will effectively be able to create an [infinite portal](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacetime-transformation-lamp). Such a phenomenon is a lot better to just look at than fall into. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 77% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [DIY](https://www.trendhunter.com/diy) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **DIY Mirrors:** Opportunity for innovative DIY products that allow individuals to personalize and customize their own mirrors. - **Portal Theme:** Potential for incorporating portal-themed designs into various products, creating a sense of playfulness and imagination. - **Infinite Portal Illusion:** Emerging trend of creating visual illusions using mirrors to achieve infinite depth and captivating optical effects. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for home decor companies to offer DIY mirror kits that enable customers to create personalized portal-themed mirrors. - **Gaming:** Opportunity for gaming companies to incorporate portal-themed designs in gaming accessories, creating a more immersive gaming experience. - **Optical Illusion Art:** Emerging industry trend of artists using mirrors to create captivating optical illusions and interactive art installations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Optical Illusion Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hooptical.md) - [Travel-Themed Fractured Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baggage-claim-mirrors.md) - [One-of-a-Kind Ceramic Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-mirror.md) - [Illusory Doorway Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/panis-mirror.md) - [Reflective Material Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirroring-dialogue.md) - [Artful Custom Mirror Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portraits-collection.md) - [Digital Portal Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-portal-galleries.md) - [Portable Holographic Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/looking-glass-go.md) - [Retro Jelly Mold-Inspired Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jelly-mirror.md)
