The PopUp House design is a [flatpack home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boxabl-baby-box) that can be built without the need of a construction team or contractors thanks to a flatpack design that only requires the use of a screwdriver for assembly. This allows consumers to put together the affordable home entirely on their own while sticking to a reasonable housing budget.

Similar to furniture purchased from retailers such as [IKEA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allen-key-lamp), the PopUp House allows consumers to put together a home entirely on their own using a pre-purchased flatpack frame. The house costs roughly $340-$409 USD per square metre which is nearly one sixth the cost of a traditional home. The PopUp House is made using [stackable blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-collection-1) that take a week to assemble before the environmentally friendly design is fully liveable.
