If inanimate objects had personalities, I'd be inclined to label the Poppy Lamp as shy. The lovable illuminator seems to tilt its head down timidly, despite the confidence that it should possess with its gift of sensational color and light.

Rodrigo Bertotto, Claire Desbois and Gérard Wantz collaborated on this endearing piece for WA. DE. BE. design, giving it an intriguing asymmetrical stance and a very unusual lampshade. [Beech wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp) was used to make a primary post for the [table lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juba-tl1-table-lamp), but this is supported by two root-like branches that offshoot to establish a stable tripod for the object. The Poppy Lamp's lean invites you to play with its position; meanwhile, its [colorful rolled-up diffuser](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-hat-collection) promises to brighten up any space.
