While the outer shape of the cube is consistent, you can select three different options. The cubes hide a [makeup table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookmarker-table) with a cosmetic mirror and jewelry case, a [bar cabinet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chameleon-furniture) complete with fridge and leather shelf or a workstation with an extendable shelf for a laptop and printer. Because these different options are all hidden away behind the Magic Cube's doors, they're perfect for nearly any room in your home. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Interchangeable Furniture:** The Yomei Magic Cube offers three different interchangeable options within the same cube, indicating a trend towards space-saving and versatile furniture. - **Hidden Functionality:** The Magic Cube's hidden options reveal a trend in furniture design emphasizing discreet, multifunctional features. - **Modular Furniture:** The Magic Cube's ability to transform into different pieces of furniture hints at a trend in modular furniture design, allowing for increased flexibility and adaptability. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** The Magic Cube's unique and adaptable design presents an opportunity for furniture designers to explore new modular, multifunctional concepts. - **Home Decor:** The Magic Cube's sleek, space-saving design creates opportunities for innovative home decor trends, catering to those living in smaller living spaces. - **Hospitality:** The Magic Cube's bar cabinet option is perfect for hospitality industries, encouraging the exploration of hidden, multifunctional design in bars and restaurants. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sliding Grid-Affixed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/square-to-square.md) - [Dynamic Modular Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunon-furniture-mixcube.md) - [Hidden Compartment Metallic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stainless-steel-furniture-set.md) - [Modular Configured Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabinet.md) - [Multifuntional Modular Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-transformer-table.md) - [Connected Cubic Desk Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yeelight-cube.md) - [Ergonomic Multi-Use Desk Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabinett-desk.md) - [Modular Flatpack Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/opoo-multifunctional-furniture.md) - [Reconfigurable Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qbit-furniture.md)
