# Clip-On Waste Collectors The 'Piqapoo' Poop Bag Collector Affixes onto a Dog's Rear End By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2016-11-02 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poop-bag References: [piqapoo](http://www.piqapoo.com/) & [kickstarter](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/piqapoo/piqapoo-collecting-your-dogs-poo-so-you-dont-have) It could be argued that the worst part of dog ownership is stooping and scooping when out for a walk with them, so the 'Piqapoo' poop bag collector works by eliminating this occurrence. Available for preorder now on [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ez-treat), the 'Piqapoo' works by being affixed onto a dog's tail and holding a [plastic bag](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/myecoworld) in place. When the dog goes to do their business, the 'Piqapoo' will catch the poop and allow owners to simply detach the bag and throw it out without ever having to scoop up the mess by hand. The 'Piqapoo' poop bag collector features a soft, comfortable clip design that affixes onto the base of a standard size dog's tail and stays there during their walk until they have to go. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Pet Waste Management Systems:** There is a need for novel pet waste management systems that promote convenience and hygiene. - **Animal Grooming Technologies:** Advancements in animal grooming technologies can address various sanitation-related issues for different pet breeds. - **Pet Fitness Accessories:** Pet fitness accessories like the 'Piqapoo' offer a new avenue for pet owners to ensure their pets' health while promoting eco-friendliness and convenience. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Retail:** The pet retail industry can incorporate innovative pet waste management systems in their product offerings. - **Animal Healthcare:** Animal healthcare providers have an opportunity to integrate technology-enabled products like the 'Piqapoo' to aid hygiene maintenance and offer convenience to pet owners. - **Eco-friendly Products:** Eco-friendly product manufacturing companies can cater to the rising demand for environmentally conscious pet care products, including the 'Piqapoo' poop bag collector that eliminates the environmental impact of disposable, plastic bags. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Luxury Gut Health Jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pooch-pendant.md) - [Wearable Dog Treat Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ez-treat.md) - [Tropical-Scented Dog Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peach-lotus-scented-poop-bags.md) - [Biobased Dog Poop Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biobased-poop-bags.md) - [Multifunctional Pet Leash Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slide-dangbler.md) - [Mess-Free Canine Treat Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-treat-holder.md) - [Multifunctional Customizable Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nylon-leash.md) - [Spill-Proof Kibble Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kibble-katcher.md) - [All-in-One Rotating Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-360-dog-leash.md)
