# Tabletop Gadget Organizers The Polyply Stand is an Artsy Way to Store Your iToys Neatly By Sandra Winn | Published 2011-03-18 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyply-stand References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2011/03/18/the-ieveryting-stand/) & [minimallyminimal](http://www.minimallyminimal.com/minimally-minimal/2011/2/10/polyply.html) When viewing pictures of designer Andrew Kim’s Polyply Stand for multiple iGadgets, I couldn’t help but think, “Is it electronic art decor or a cool tabletop organizer?” Actually, it could be both. The Polyply Stand, like the [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macintosh-studio) products it holds, is sleek in design, giving it a modern feel. Currently the Polyply Stand will allow an iPad, iPhone4, [Stylus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freeform-app) and [iPod Classic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ipod-classic-iphone-17-case) to rest in cozy techno-peace. What’s next? Frankly, if Andrew Kim’s Polyply Stand takes off, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a wall-based iGadget organizer in the making. > Technically Andrew Kim should be calling it the iPoly, but never mind! The stand holds iEverything in a manner that makes it easy to charge and orient as secondary (and subsequent) displays. I love the way the keyboard can be teamed up with the iPad in the forefront and the iMac in the background. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 49% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Electronic Art Decor:** The Polyply Stand blurs the line between art and functionality, creating an opportunity for disruptive innovation in electronic art decor. - **Tabletop Organizers:** The sleek and modern design of the Polyply Stand opens up possibilities for disruptive innovation in tabletop organizing solutions. - **Wall-based Igadget Organizers:** As the Polyply Stand gains popularity, there is potential for disruptive innovation in the development of wall-based iGadget organizers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Design:** The Polyply Stand highlights the potential for disruptive innovation in the design industry, merging functionality with aesthetics. - **Technology:** The Polyply Stand presents opportunities for disruptive innovation within the technology industry, reimagining how digital devices can be organized. - **Home Decor:** The sleek and modern design of the Polyply Stand opens up possibilities for disruptive innovation in the home decor industry, combining art and practicality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Three-in-One Tablet Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kolude-stand.md) - [Customizable Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-desk-organizers.md) - [Functional Device-Charging Computer Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/molo-computer-stand.md) - [Minimalistic Desk Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wool-felt-studio-pad.md) - [Minimalist Dual-Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-powerthru-2in1-charging-stand.md) - [Sculptural Geometric Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kiir.md) - [Retro-Inspired 3D-Printed Storage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macintosh-studio.md) - [Triangular Desktop Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yofho-prisma.md) - [Tech-Friendly Organization Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sousshelf.md)
