We’re not only seeing Barack Obama and John McCain on these pumpkins, but also Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, and Oprah Winfrey (let’s face it, Oprah is pretty much president anyway). Want to join in on the fun? Download a stencil from MSN’s website below and have the most creative and unique Jack o’ Lantern on the block. While you’re having fun carving, make sure to give yourself major props for encouraging [political awareness](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freedom-town) and voting. Stage something seriously funny on your front stoop by creating a pumpkin stare-down scene between Barack Obama and John McCain, or carve just one candidate to voice your personal political choice. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Political Pumpkins:** Creating political-themed pumpkins is a popular trend during election season that could inspire new pumpkin carving accessories or kits. - **Voter Awareness Activities:** Using creative tactics such as carving political pumpkins can encourage voter awareness activities, and potentially inspire new and engaging civic engagement initiatives. - **Election Merchandise:** Political pumpkins could serve as inspiration for creating new and unique election merchandise that could potentially drive sales and engage voters. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Retail:** Retailers could create political-themed pumpkin carving kits or pumpkin carving accessories that could cater to a new market of politically-engaged customers. - **Marketing:** Creating unique voter awareness activities, such as political pumpkin carving, could become a popular marketing tool for political campaigns and organizations. - **Entertainment:** Political pumpkins could inspire new and engaging Halloween events or activities that combine politics and entertainment, reaching a broad audience of potential voters. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Jack-o’-lantern Pizzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jackolantern-pizza.md) - [Stacking Pumpkin Display Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pumpkin-stacking-kit.md) - [Halloween-Themed Fire Pit Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-carved-pumpkin.md) - [Expansive Electoral Candy Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/election-collection.md) - [Festive Sticker Packs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pumpkin-emojis-sticker-pack.md) - [Pumpkin-Inspired Community-Themed Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tri-pumpkin.md) - [Savoy Pumpkin Pizzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smashing-pumpkin.md) - [Dispensary-Friendly Voting Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toke-the-vote.md) - [Presidential Election Candy Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amusemints-election-collection.md)
