The skateboard is constructed with a carbon fiber design to reinforce the sturdy design and features an electric powertrain within to propel the rider forward in a speedy manner. Riders can easily recharge the skateboard via a USB-A or USB-C connection, which are kept hidden when not in use by a panel to protect against damage. The Polestar electric skateboard concept is designed as a great option for urban commuters or even as a last-mile transportation solution to keep in a trunk for riding from a parking spot to the office. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Transportation](https://www.trendhunter.com/transportation) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Carbon Fiber Mobility Devices:** Design and create carbon fiber-based lightweight yet durable mobility devices like this electric skateboard for efficient and sustainable transportation - **USB Charging for Small Electric Devices:** Improve USB charging technology and integrate it into small electric devices for more convenient and accessible charging - **Last-mile Transportation Solutions:** Develop more efficient and sustainable last-mile transportation options like this electric skateboard for urban commuters and people looking for more convenient and sustainable ways to travel ### Sectors Adopting This - **Transportation:** Incorporate carbon fiber into transportation devices including cars, bikes, and scooters for more durable and lightweight designs - **Tech Accessories:** Enhance the charging system of tech devices with USB-A and USB-C connectors for more efficient, reliable, and faster charging - **Outdoor and Sports Gear:** Design and develop more efficient and sustainable outdoor and sports gears like electric skateboards, scooters, and bikes for a more eco-friendly way of outdoor adventures and transportation ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Angular Electric Motorbike Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polestar-cp1-concept.md) - [Premium Lightweight Electric Skateboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aero-pro.md) - [Minimalist Aggressive Electric SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polestar-8-concept.md) - [Performance Electric Concept Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polestar-o2.md) - [Electric Skateboard Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-skateboard-design.md) - [Solar-Powered Autonomous Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polestar-cladrus.md) - [Hybridized Electric Longboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybridized-electric-longboards.md) - [Scandinavian Electric GTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polestar-5-grand-tourer.md) - [Vacation-Focused Vehicle Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polestar1.md)
