Designed specifically for the Motorola moto z, this super portable Polaroid mod simply snaps on to the back of the phone and prints a photo after it has been taken. Not only does the mode work in real time, it is also capable of printing photos from stored images and from Facebook, Instagram and Google Photos. The mod does add quite a bit of thickness to the phone, making less-ideal as a constant attachment, but it can be easily stored in a bag and then attached to the phone. The Polaroid mod utilizes the built-in camera on the moto z and can also be used on selfie mode. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Instant Photo-printing:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in developing portable printers that can be easily connected to smartphones. - **Modular Smartphone Accessories:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating modular accessories that enhance the functionality of smartphones. - **Real-time Printing Technology:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in improving real-time printing capabilities for smartphones. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the photography industry by incorporating instant printing technology into smartphones. - **Mobile Technology:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the mobile technology industry by developing more modular accessories for smartphones. - **Printing and Imaging:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the printing and imaging industry by creating more portable and compact printers for smartphones. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Instant Film Smartphone Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fujifilm-instax-mini-link-3.md) - [Artwork-Friendly Smartphone Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fujifilm-instax-mini-link-plus.md) - [Portable Smartphone Camera Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instax-mini-link-2.md) - [Instant Action Camera Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-ace-pro-2-pocket-printer.md) - [Wide-Format Mobile Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instax-wide.md) - [Rechargeable Instant Print Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kodak-smile.md) - [Pocket-Sized Smartphone Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-instant-photo-printer.md) - [Digital-to-Analog Photo Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jollylook-eye.md) - [Sleek Instant Print Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kodak-printomatic.md)
