# Photographic Phone Covers The Polaroid iPhone Decal Makes Your Smartphone a Classic Camera By Michael Hines | Published 2011-01-13 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaroid-iphone-decal References: [laughingsquid](http://laughingsquid.com/polaroid-iphone-decal/) & [photojojo](http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/polaroid-iphone-decal/) iPhone owners on the hunt for the [coolest decals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/classic-c1) need to check out the new Polaroid iPhone Decal from Photojojo. This decal disguises your [iPhone 4](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-4-concept) as a Rainbow OneStep Polaroid Land camera. I have to say that the Polaroid iPhone Decal is quite convincing. The decal attaches and detaches to the back of your iPhone 4 without leaving any sticky residue behind. My only knock against this decal is that it is one-time use only. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Photographic Phone Decals:** Opportunity for businesses to create a variety of phone decals that transform smartphones into different types of cameras. - **Customizable Phone Accessories:** Businesses can innovate by offering personalized phone accessories that allow users to customize the appearance of their smartphones. - **Retro Tech Revival:** The popularity of Polaroid iPhone decals indicates a demand for nostalgic tech products, presenting opportunities for businesses to create modern versions of retro gadgets. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** Companies can develop and market phone decals and accessories to enhance the visual appeal of smartphones. - **Printing and Imaging:** Opportunity for businesses in the printing and imaging industry to offer customized decals and printing services for phone accessories. - **Gift and Novelty:** Businesses can cater to nostalgia and offer unique retro-inspired gadgets and accessories for smartphone users. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Emotive Smartphone Camera Covers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camera-covers.md) - [Nostalgic Computer Graphic Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrospekt-and-polaroid.md) - [MP3 Player Smartphone Wallpapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ipod-wallpapers.md) - [Retro Doll-inspired Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaroid-600-malibu-barbie-instant-film-camera.md) - [Chunky Retro Instant Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaroid-flip-instant-camera.md) - [Retro-Tinged Polaroid Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/square-sq40.md) - [Artist-Honoring Instant Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/now-i2-camera.md) - [Flippable Retro-Style Instant Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaroid-flip.md) - [Digital-to-Analog Photo Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jollylook-eye.md)
